Pocahontas'life

Before reading this biography, you have to think we are living in XVII century.
Are you in 1615 now? OK, then, you are ready to start reading.

Pocahontas’s life:
Pocahontas was born in Virginia, when it was an Indian territory. She grew up in the nature, among animals, freedom and harmony. Her father was the Chief of the Empire Powhatan, Wahunsonacock was his name. She loved to sail over the river and to see how the water’s always changing and flowing. But every princess has a fiancé, and Pocahontas’s fiancé was Kokum, the best warrior of the tribe, he was the only worthy to get married with the princess of the great Wahunsonacock, Chief of the Empire Powhatan. But he was very
serious, and Pocahontas has never loved him.
By that time, a group of colonist landed there. They wanted to get gold digging the lands that were Indian’s lands. They cut down trees, used gunpowder and dinamyte, they were destroying the place because they thought those lands belonged to them.
John Smith, a very attractive blond man with blue eyes, travelled among his coarse members of the crew. A quirk of fate caused Pocahontas meeting John Smith. She was observing him when he noticed an Indian was going after him.
When he pointed whit his gun toward her, he realized she wasn’t a dangerous Indian; she was a beautiful curious woman who was only observing. She frightened and began to run away. It was only a few seconds, but John Smith has already fallen in love with the woman of penetrating look. He ran after her, he wanted to explain her; he had never wanted to hurt her. Eventually he was able to reach her and he explained that he wasn’t bad. Pocahontas accepted to talk with him and that afternoon they became friends.
Pocahontas maintained her relationship with John Smith secret, they met every day, and they loved each other gradually. Pocahontas showed him what precious was the nature and to feel the freedom of the water. Later, John Smith found out that in those lands, there wasn’t metallic gold, but gold food, wheat.

Kokum, Pocahontas’ fiancé, started to suspect about her secret escapes. One day, he decided to follow her. What was her surprise when he rushed towards John Smith’s neck to kill him when Kokum discovered they were kissing! John Smith tried to protect himself while Pocahontas was trying to ask for help. Thomas, a friend of John who was there, shot Kokum with his gun. Kokum died and John Smith was arrested by the Indian. Early in the morning, John Smith would be executed because of the death of Kokum.
Pocahontas was very confused, she asked her grandmother (Pocahontas’ mother had died long time ago) about what she had to do. Finally, she decided to save him although the tribe and his father got angry. She arrived in time to protect John Smith with her body, if her father wanted to execute John; he had to kill his only girl too. Then, Wahunsonacock understood that JohnSmith was a good man if his daughter risked her life for him.

The bad was the general Radcliffe who wanted to exploit their lands. In that moment, he shot Pocahontas' father (Chief of the Empire Powhatan) to kill him, because Radcliffe was evil and he wanted a war between Indian and British, but John Smith jumped to protect him with his body. Everybody (Indian and the rest of settlers) stopped his war effort and tied him. General Radcliffe would be judged in Great Britain by trying to kill a compatriot.
John Smith was hurt and needed medical care urgently. He had to left Pocahontas and the freedom of the nature. They said goodbye with a passionate kiss and finally John Smith returned to Great Britain. But she hasn’t forgotten him yet, she has loved John Smith with her whole heart and she hasn’t stopped missing him. Pocahontas will go to England if he doesn’t come back soon.
